Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan has featured in the World Cup team of the tournament dominated by champions England.
Announced by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday, England was the most represented with four players on the team, with New Zealand runner-up Kane Williamson as captain.

Shakib was part of the lineup for his stellar contribution in all aspects, which included 606 runs with an average of 86.56 and an attack rate of 96.03 in eight innings.

He also took 11 windows, confirming the unparalleled double feat of 400 races and 10 windows in a single World Cup.

He is also the only player of the teams that did not qualify for the semifinals.

England starter Jason Roy, middle-range hitter Joe Root, off-road Ben Stokes and pacemaker Jofra Archer came to the team after Sunday's victory over the Black Caps in an exciting final where the hosts prevailed in the limit count. after a Super Over tied.
